It's the last day of July 2016!  Summer is in full swing!  On Splitcoaststampers we are in the middle of playing 'Dare to Get Dirty 2016".  So far there are 10 challenges to complete for.  I have nine of them finished!  There is one I still need to do.  But atlas!  I do not have the equipment to do it.  Tomorrow is Hobby Lobby day, to purchase (hopefully) the things I need.

So!  Here are my nine cards!

I hope these inspire you to make some cards of your own!  Be creative; go with the flow and let your imagination appear on paper.  As always I love it when you leave me a comment or two.  God bless and have a wonderful week!  Jan

Happy July Saturday!

I have worked on bible journals with many images with bible verses.  I am putting them in a book for others to buy and color; as they color they can read bible verses and worship the Lord in their own way. I do have some cards I made this week, to share with you.

This card was done for the 'Ways to Use It' challenge.  Which called for frames on our cards.  As you can see I used two frames (die cuts) and a butterfly (die cut)  Blue frame is made by Spellbinders, as well as the Butterfly die.  The white frame is made by Joy Crafts.  I added glitter glue.
This card was done for our 'Color Challenge'.  Pink, Blue and Aqua was the colors - luckily I had design papers that had those colors in it.  Design papers are from Stampin' Up Company.  I added adhesive lace, two ovals in different colors and sizes.  Both Spellbinders.  Added adhesive flowers in the corner and stamped the sentiment; made by Verve.  Added glitter glue to the ovals.
This card was made for our 'Clean and Simple' challenge.  The challenge called for a beach scene.  I used chalk, on the waves before die cutting them out.  I continued to use chalk on the rest of the card for the sky.  I stamped the sun and used markers to color.  The waves die is made by Memory Box.  The three sailboats dies are made by Impression Obsession.  The sentiment stamp is by Penny Black.
This card was made for our Inspirational Challenge, and also for the Mixability challenge.  We are given a new website to look at each Saturday, and we are to pick one picture for inspiration and make a card from that.  Today was a bouquet of Tulips.  Mixability called for buttons.  The jar stamp and die is made by Art-C.  The tulips I bought from a sweet lady on E-bay.  I added the pom-poms on the edge.  Also the bow.

These last two cards were made for a neighbor who wanted a couple of Thank you cards.  The 'thanks' die is made by Impression Obsession.  The blue flower was made for me by a really good friend, Lisa.  The butterflies, are made by paper punches.  The white topper was embossed.

I hope you enjoyed looking at these - as much as I like sharing them with you!  Maybe they will inspire you to make some cards!!  Leave me a comment and let me know okay?  God bless and have a fantastic week!

OH!  Before I let you go - I will be going on vacation next week.  So I may not have much to show you next week, but will do what I can okay?  God bless!  Jan

Ready for another round of cards today????  I have a few to show you!  So cutting the chit chat out today, we can just dig right in!

Black and White .. that was our challenge for Inspirational Challenge.  I bought this die cut from a friend of mine online - then colored the eyes and nose.  I added the bible verse:  Numbers 6:24-26 sold by 'Our Daily Bread Designs'.
Another black and white - for the Inspirational Challenge.  This one I die cut the doily (Prima Dies); added the checkered brad in the center.  The sentiment stamp is from Prima Marketing.
Ways to Use it challenge this past Thursday, was all about the browns, ivory - namely chocolate or anything else that comes in brown.  I used the coffee bean embossing folder, the sentiment is from 'Funny Bones' and the coffee cup is from 'Our Daily Bread Designs'.  I colored the cup in flesh and red, the coffee is brown - but my camera did me wrong this week and made it look red.  I popped up the middle squares for 3-D effect.
Our Sketch Challenge, was a bit different this week.  We were told to look for a sketch we felt like doing, from SC500 through SC599.  I chose SC501 - I stamped this, and colored it.  The three circles in the left bottom corner, was punched out with a circle punch, and flowers were added.
Featured stamper, was a great one this past week!  A very talented girl was chosen, and I picked out a beauty of a card and cased it.  This is what I came up with.  Sweet n' Sassy makes the sentiment words, the girl I received as a gift from another stamper.  I colored it and die cut a scallop out of it.  The dies for the black lines is by Memory Box.

Well as always I hope you enjoyed my cards.  I hope each one of you have a wonderful week!  May God bless youy!  Jan

I am back this week!!

I am back and I have some great cards to share with you!!  As always, please leave a comment or two, and if you have not joined my blog - please do so!!

It is hard to see here; but those balloon and the gift is covered in glitter.  I of course outlined the stamp and colored them in.  Added more glitter dots to the bottom left corner.  The DP in the bg is from Stampin' Up.  The stamp is Stampendous.  I also used a pennant puncher for the top.
This isn't too hard to explain.  We all know how curious cats can be!!  Stamping this image (Stampendous).  I colored the image win chalk, this was a color challenge and we had to use wisteria, pink and gray.  I made this kitty with wisteria eyes!  Stamped the sentiment and bee (Verve).  Of course colored the bee.
Aren't these sheep fun???  I bought these die cuts from a sweet lady named Kathy on E-bay.  I used a die from SB for the fence, and hills.  The clouds were die from Sweet n Sassy.  The matching envelope is so sweet don't you think?  I used the light blue checkered for the bg and sky.  The tag I stamped with Verve.
Tickle challenge for the Tea Potter's on SCS!!  We had to bring a picnic basket - well wouldn't you know?  I did not have one.  So this is a sweet 'digi' that I found online.  I popped it up for dimension, added a yellow butterfly sticker.  I added the ribbons on top and bottom of the card - also the bow to the left and lots and lots of glitter!!
Featured Stamper challenge is to go to the gallery of the SCS stamper that the hostess picks out.  From there I found a similar card; and made this.  Her card had a gnome on it - mine has a umbrella.  Isn't the plaid pretty???  That paper comes in a set called 'Love Story'.  I added the orange gems and the pearl!!  My sentiment stamp comes from Joy Crafts!!
This is for Inspirational Challenge --- Our neat neat hostess picks out different websites and we go on there and pick a item/image.  And create a card from it.  In this case there was a napkin ring with a gold bird on it, the circle I have behind it is the color of the two napkins it was tied to (brownish tan and white).  It also had a stalk of flowers, which inspired me to place my yellow punched flowers.  My butterfly is stick on.  I used heat embossing for the sentiment (stamp is Verve).  I hope you like everything today!

I pray that you all have a wonderful week!  Stay safe for the 4th!!  God bless!  Jan
