It has been a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time since I have posted!!

Well folks a lot has happened in the past year!  I am still making handcrafted cards ... but before I get to that; let me get you all caught up!

I moved from a 1200 sq ft home to a 620 sq ft apartment.  I love it!!  It is so easy to manage, and take care of.  With all my health issues this is a must.  I have friendly neighbors and have made tons of friends here.

Next:  I still have my little Precious (kitty); and she is just as rambunctious as ever!  Keeps me on my toes for sure!  All those who are animals lovers know that these babies are our kids.  We love them with unconditional love and they know it!  Hence, being spoiled.  Am I right?  Huh?

Now on to the good stuff!  I am still making handcrafted cards; and selling them.  Due to my moving to another town, I stop selling them at 'The Crumpet Tea Room' in Bentonville, AR.  And now selling them at 'The Cottage at the Barn' in Rogers, AR.  And today, I may have a second place to sell my cards, will know later on this afternoon!  I am so excited about this 'maybe' opportunity!!  So if you are ever in Rogers AR - I hope you will stop by downtown Rogers and take a peek at my cards.  Right now, I have Mother's Day cards out along with your other occasions for cards.

For those who do not live in this area - you are always welcomed to see my gallery on Splitcoaststampers; the gallery button to the top right of the page.  And I am now on Pinterest as well.  You see something you like, I can custom make it for you!  My stamps and die collection is growing all the time.  I try to stick a bible verse in each one, some are blank for your own words.

Okay for my latest cards here is a peek!!

Here is featured Stampin' Up design paper; this set is so beautiful and I just love using it!  It is two sided, so the insides are just as lovely.
On Splitcoaststampers, we have daily challenges.  The last Tuesday of the month for the Tea Potter's challenge; we all get to tickle each other.  Translation:  One person is the hostess for each month and writes a story and gives us a challenge.  (By the way, I will be hosting the last Tuesday of July!).  This month for April, we were told to do something from the Wizard of Oz.  Hence Dorothy!  Doesn't that bring back memories?
On Tuesdays as well we have a Color Challenge:  This was the result of one such challenge.  Yellow, Olive Green and Aqua Blue.  I spread chalk for the background, stamp the pear and colored it.
On Fridays we have what is called, Free 4 All challenge.  This one called for Mother Earth.  I used wind as you can clearly see.  I chalked the background with clouds and sand, pieced the dress with design paper, and colored the rest.  For the cherry on top, I fussy cut shells and place them on the sand.
This was a brand new stamp I just had to try!  Again I chalked the clouds in (I do this a lot!)  stamped the flower and went over the stems with markers and the flower with more chalk.
Did you guess?  Yup another chalked background!  Pop ups bird called with markers, along with the branch and berries.
A friend of mine, Lisa also know as Shoe Girl on Splitcoaststampers, did a darling card (Her card) - and I just had to case her.  What is casing?  It is a term for copying another person card that inspires you.  We even have a challenge for that!  It is on Monday.  The only catch?  We must change at least one thing from their card to ours.

The two above is a couple of the Mother's Day cards I made.  I made a lot of them, hoping to sell them by Mother's Day.  It is only 9 days away!  Yikes!
Last but of course not least... a baby card.  I think these onsies are the cutest die!  I placed a wooly lamb to sweeten the pot!

I hope you enjoy browsing my cards!  I do love to create and hope to hear from you all soon!  God bless always!  Remember 'His Mercies are new every monring."  Lamentations 3:22-23.

May God bless you and have a great day!
